Mistfall Hunter Reverent Seer Build (Support Skills, Talents, Affixes)
LichKArthus’s ranged support Seer from a thousand hours on the class: Healing Art as the only hard support skill in the game, Burst Rune stagger chains, and the three affix floors below which the build stops working.
Whose build this is

What it does
The premise
A ranged Seer that wins by outlasting rather than by closing. The creator’s framing of solo play is a single word — patience — and he is explicit about why: this build cannot chase and cannot run, so it fortresses up and takes the fights that come to it. What makes that viable is that the Reverent holds the only hard support skill in the game, and it cleanses before it heals.
The loop
- Hold ground and let them commit to the approach; you cannot chase and you cannot escape.
- Prep Burst Rune around a corner, then bait the evade so they cannot I-frame it.
- The debuff expires into a second detonation and a stagger — chain that into a charged heavy.
- Wind Surge knocks them back; a fully charged heavy after it stuns.
- Heal on the cleanse, not on the health bar: it removes anti-heal before it heals.
Skills
Skill slots, and what is deliberately left out
Called the only hard support skill in the game outright. It heals more the more health is missing, on you or on a teammate, and it removes every debuff — paralysis arrow, barbed arrow, bloodfly arrow, Sorcerer burns, and anti-heal, which is the one that matters, because it cleanses before it heals. Demonstrated at close to 400 health instantly, with four charges solo and six in a trio. The same breath rates Barrier as bad and tells you not to take it.
The main pressure tool: a wide, relatively far-reaching area hit that damages, staggers and leaves a debuff which detonates for roughly the initial damage again and staggers a second time. That second stagger is a scheduled kill window rather than a lucky one — the creator says the timing is learnable and that he cannot teach it, only that you practise it.
Taken for its talent rather than for itself: a fully charged heavy attack after the knockback stuns. Do not throw it at someone who can dodge it — if a good player I-frames the knockback you have spent your spacing tool for nothing, so it is held until a closer is already committed.
Instant, and it costs no resource — you can cast it on empty pips, which is the whole argument for it. It knocks back, and if an enemy breaks it, it procs a second time, which the creator describes as genuinely annoying for melee to play around.
The solo pick, and mainly a Seeker engine: the turret construct procs Seeker for you, and Seeker at level four with wine up is what gives this build any kiting at all. In a trio he considers dropping it, and rates Windwalker Rune above it there.
The trio swap, taken in place of Wind Surge along with the talent that leaves a shield behind when the ward expires. This is the skill our own PvP page reports as the reason a support Seer is near-mandatory in trios.
Called one of the best abilities in the entire game and borderline overpowered. Inside a large radius it shortens enemy dodge distance and roughly doubles your team’s — in the same number of frames, so allies dodge the same speed and twice as far. His own rule for playing against it: kill the totem or lose the fight.
Talents
Talents in the creator's stated priority order
Listed in the order they recommend spending points, not in tree order — the first entries are the ones that change how the build functions rather than how hard it hits.
- Shield on the Breakaway evade?07:00
Never named in the video — the creator points at the node and calls it one of the best talents in the game for any class, and has done since its introduction. The free evade you get during a Breakaway grants a shield that scales with attack, which in practice buys you a couple of hits you would otherwise have eaten. Recorded by what it does because the captions never give it a name.
- Opportunist Strike01:00
The reason Wind Surge is in the build: after the knockback, a fully charged heavy stuns. The captions garble the name twice in one sentence, but this one does not need a hedge — the catalogue already carries it from the Wind Surge tooltip, which also adds what the video does not: the more Psionic Energy the follow-up orb consumes, the longer the stun.
- Shield when Death Ward expires?01:30
The trio counterpart, also unnamed on screen. Taken alongside the Death Ward swap; without it the ward is a delay rather than a swing in the fight.
- Four unnamed mandatory nodes?06:00
The creator selects four talents in sequence and calls them mandatory for essentially any Seer build, without saying any of their names — he only notes that the alternative line, Evanflow, was weak in the last playtest, was buffed for release, and that he has heard it may not work for some players and has not tested it himself. They are listed here as one entry because inventing four names would be worse than admitting the video does not give them.
- Synergy?07:30
Explicitly the do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do pick. He runs it to make a turret build work because he finds it fun, says the turret is not actually good, and tells you to take the other node instead. Kept on the page because a build that hides its author’s own disclaimer is a worse source.
Affixes
Affixes to chase
- Ethereal?11:00
Rated as maybe one of the best solo affixes in the game, and the source of this build’s signature escape: at five, falling no longer staggers you and fall damage is fully resisted. It needed four in the playtest and needs five now. No catalogue record exists for this affix yet, so the name is carried as the captions gave it rather than linked.
Execution
The parts that are technique, not gear
Copying the talent tree gets you none of this. These are the patterns the creator demonstrates on camera.
Fall down the shaft they cannot follow you down 11:30
The Ethereal-five payoff, and he is clear it is a routine play rather than a hypothetical. Chased, or teamed on in solo, he drops down an elevator shaft. Anyone without the affix who follows dies; anyone who takes the elevator instead has given you the distance for free. On a wind sigil he goes one better — ride it up as they jump down, and they cannot reach you at all.
Bait the evade, then land the rune 03:00
The whole engagement pattern in one habit. Prep Burst Rune behind cover and wait for them to spend their evade closing on you, because an evade spent early cannot I-frame the rune. Then it ticks, the debuff detonates, the stagger lands, and the charged heavy goes in while they are still recovering.
Drag the fight away from the mobs 17:00
The build’s own weakness, played around rather than fixed. Ranged Seer clears PvE slowly, so a wandering elite turns a duel into a mess. His stated fix is the utility slot: run keys, which open and close doors instantly, and use them to pull the fight into a room the mob is not in.
Do not spam evade out of the boss room 27:00
A general rule he stops to give even though it is not build-specific: teleporting out of a boss room grants a brief immunity, and spamming evade on the other side removes it. Check for company first, then move.
Honest limits
What this build is bad at
A build page without this section is an advertisement.
- The creator’s own verdict on his own build: he finds it boring and does not enjoy the rotations, and says so in the closing minute rather than in the comments.
- It cannot chase and it cannot disengage well. Kills come to you or they do not happen, which is why the solo section is really a patience lecture.
- It finishes fights slowly, and he names that as possibly the only real problem with the spec in solo. Two of the fights on camera end with the opponent escaping at low health.
- It clears PvE slowly, so a single elite wandering into a duel is a genuine loss condition rather than an annoyance.
- The talent section of the video is shown rather than said. Four nodes he calls mandatory are never named, and no page can honestly turn that into a talent list.
- The gear on camera is his Blasphemer set, defence jewellery included. He says outright you should run attack jewellery instead, because heals scale with attack and this build needs help finishing kills — so the affixes shown are not the affixes recommended.
