Patch 15 September 2026 update
Updated 2026-09-20

Mistfall Hunter Roadmap

Every published Season 1 phase — Brandrgarde Solo Mode in September, the Golden Woodling, the Ancestor Tree and the Season 2 javelin — sorted by date.

The short answer

Fourteen things are named for Season 1. Two of them have dates.

The Mistfall Hunter roadmap dates exactly two items: the 6 August client update, and Brandrgarde Solo Mode in September. Everything in Phase III and Season 2 is a name and a sentence, with no timing attached.

Bellring published the 5 August roadmap as a single image and dated almost nothing on it. The one entry that has since resolved is Soul Harvest, which the 7 August notice put in "next week's client update" and which shipped on 12 August at 08:00 UTC+0, two days ahead of the date the launch press release had named. DevNote #8 adds direction — seasonal resets, class-balance targets, task-streamlining plans and Blackarrow Javelin concept art — but it still does not date the undated Phase III or Season 2 entries.

Season 1 roadmap, phase by phase

Bellring published the whole phase breakdown as a single image on 5 August. This is that image read out as text, with every entry carrying the confidence it actually has.

Official roadmap, Phase I panel — and the identification is no longer ours. Bellring published this panel uncaptioned, but DevNote #7 had already published the same figure twelve days earlier, in the same pose and holding the same barbed red blade, on a concept sheet placed directly beneath the paragraph naming the Soulgnawer. The panel is that sheet rendered. Bellring labelled it by placement; this site only noticed.

Phase I — live now, Soul Harvest included

Official · dated
  • Einherjar Mode: Mist Lord challenge unlocked

Opens with the client update Bellring dated to 6 August. The 1 August post adds that defeating this Mist Lord carries a higher chance of dropping Holy Weapons or Holy Forging Materials; no drop rate was published, so there is no number to quote.

  • Season tasks become available

The roadmap’s own wording: “A mysterious guest arrives at Windrest, bearing news that will lead Gyldhunters toward an unknown fate.” The 7 August notice added the timing — Season Tasks open with “next week’s client update” — and that update landed on 12 August. Whether the tasks opened with it is still unstated — the 12 August notes never print the phrase, naming “a new stage of the Fate Chart” instead — but they are live: the 19 August fix list corrects the text of “Objective 2 within Season Tasks”, which cannot be done to something unshipped. The season’s narrative frame is the Fate Chart, named in DevNote #7.

  • Season-exclusive content: Soul Harvest

Gather Soul Cocoons, challenge the Soulgnawer, and enter a new multiplayer showdown for exclusive Soul Harvest rewards. The 7 August notice pointed at “next week’s client update”; that update landed on 12 August and the event is live. Runs pay tokens, spent at the Mistchaser Shop — named on 15 August, three days after the event it belongs to shipped — on the Soulbound Serpent Crystal, a Holy Material Selection Chest, Moonlight Nectar and Soul Coins.

The ritual is contested. DevNote #7 tells you to watch for third-party ambushes while it is running.

Every entry is compressed from the 5 August “Roadmap and Launch Rewards: Wave 3” announcement and the official roadmap image published inside it, with the earlier official post named on any row where one adds context. Nothing here is a community estimate or a leak. Where the announcement gives no date, this page gives no date.

What was announced on 5 August, then clarified on 7 August

Three things landed in the 5 August post, one timing clarification followed on 7 August, and DevNote #8 added live-service direction on 20 August. Mistfall Hunter passed 1,000,000 players by 5 August and over 1.5 million Gyldhunters by DevNote #8; Bellring committed to a Brandrgarde Solo Mode for the middle of Season 1 in September, which shipped on 3 September; the 6 August client update was dated; and the next-week client update became the official window for Soul Harvest and Season Tasks. That update arrived on 12 August. Everything else in the roadmap image still names content without dating it.

  • Solo Mode covers both Normal and Cataclysm difficulty on Brandrgarde — the developers were explicit that this splits the matchmaking queue and creates new solo balance problems they have not solved yet.
  • The 6 August client update increases Dried Flower Knot drops, opens the Einherjar Mist Lord challenge, and carries stability work.
  • That client update landed on 12 August: Soul Harvest is live, alongside the first real balance pass since launch. It did not mention Season Tasks — those are confirmed live by the 19 August fix list instead, which corrects the text of an objective inside them. The day they opened has never been published, so this page does not name one.
  • Where the Soul Harvest tokens go was published on 15 August and not before: the Mistchaser Shop, trading the Season-exclusive Holy-quality Soulbound Serpent Crystal, a Holy Material Selection Chest, Moonlight Nectar and Soul Coins. No price is published for any of them.
  • Bellring moved the stutter explanation forward twice: the 15 August post named cloud server CPU hyper-threading as one cause already mitigated, and DevNote #8 says chime and treasure-chest refreshes can still create excessive computation loads that will be resolved in upcoming updates.
  • The milestone rewards — Standing Pose: Spellcasting, Moonlight Nectar ×5, Pro Combat Bag ×1 and Advanced Combat Bag ×1 — had a claim window that closed on 12 August 2026 at 12:00 UTC+0. Unclaimed mail expires; this one is past.
§02

Dated, undated, and why the difference matters here

A roadmap is the one page where confident writing does the most damage. Of the fourteen things Bellring named, exactly three carried timing: the 6 August client update, the 12 August update that shipped Soul Harvest, and Solo Mode in September — all three have now landed, the last of them on 3 September. Everything in Phase III and Season 2 is a name and a sentence. Wikis that flatten those into one list end up asserting release dates that were never announced, and players plan around them.

Solo Mode is the entry that changes how you play now

Brandrgarde was trio-shaped from launch until 3 September: shrinking mist, heavy verticality, and a lobby where a solo player met full squads. The Normal and Cataclysm solo queues opened that day, which means gear you have been banking now has somewhere to go that does not require finding two other people. It also means the class balance read for Brandrgarde is being rewritten — Bellring’s own stated worry, not ours, and the pass that shipped alongside already tunes Blackarrow’s Steel Arrow differently in the two queues.

  • Hallowgrove is unchanged and remains the map whose solo runs were always structurally survivable.
  • The developers said they will communicate their findings before making further adjustments, so expect balance follow-ups rather than a clean launch.
  • Splitting the queue is a real cost in a game already criticised for matchmaking; a thinner queue is the trade for a solo option.
§04

Season 2: a weapon, not a class

The single most useful thing in the Season 2 panel is what it does not say. There is no seventh class. The named addition is a Javelin for the Blackarrow — a third weapon line for a class that already exists — plus an unnamed season theme and a season-exclusive progression system separate from Path of Glory. DevNote #8 now shows concept art and says the weapon is in full production; it still publishes no skills, stance rules, stats or date. Seasons were described in the July community AMA as three to four months, which is the only timing signal anyone has.

Mistfall Hunter Roadmap FAQ

It is out. Solo Mode opened for both Normal and Cataclysm difficulty with the 3 September 2026 update, applied at 08:00 UTC+0. It was announced on 5 August in response to launch feedback, for “the middle of Season 1 in September” with no day given, and arrived at the front of the month instead.
