Mistfall Hunter Roadmap

Every Season 1 phase Bellring has published, with Brandrgarde Solo Mode in September, the Golden Woodling and Ancestor Tree, and the Season 2 Blackarrow javelin — separated by what actually has a date.

Bellring published this roadmap as a single image with no dates on most of it. This page keeps that distinction: an entry says September only where the announcement said September, and says nothing where the announcement said nothing. Phases are not release dates.

Season 1 roadmap, phase by phase

Bellring published the whole phase breakdown as a single image on 5 August. This is that image read out as text, with every entry carrying the confidence it actually has.

Phase I — rolling out now

Official · dated
  • Einherjar Mode: Mist Lord challenge unlocked

Opens with the client update Bellring dated to 6 August. The 1 August post adds that defeating this Mist Lord carries a higher chance of dropping Holy Weapons or Holy Forging Materials; no drop rate was published, so there is no number to quote.

  • Season tasks become available

The roadmap’s own wording: “A mysterious guest arrives at Windrest, bearing news that will lead Gyldhunters toward an unknown fate.” The season’s narrative frame is the Fate Chart, named in DevNote #7.

  • Season-exclusive content: Soul Harvest

Gather Soul Cocoons, challenge the Soulgnawer, and enter a new multiplayer showdown for exclusive Soul Harvest rewards. The Soul Harvest Exchange Shop trades exclusive collectibles, Soul Coins and Moonlight Nectar.

The ritual is contested. DevNote #7 tells you to watch for third-party ambushes while it is running.

Every entry is compressed from the 5 August “Roadmap and Launch Rewards: Wave 3” announcement and the official roadmap image published inside it, with the earlier official post named on any row where one adds context. Nothing here is a community estimate or a leak. Where the announcement gives no date, this page gives no date.

§01

What was actually announced on 5 August

Three things landed in one post. Mistfall Hunter passed 1,000,000 players; Bellring committed to a Brandrgarde Solo Mode for the middle of Season 1 in September; and a client update was dated to 6 August. Everything else in the post is the roadmap image, which names content without dating it.

  • Solo Mode covers both Normal and Cataclysm difficulty on Brandrgarde — the developers were explicit that this splits the matchmaking queue and creates new solo balance problems they have not solved yet.
  • The 6 August client update increases Dried Flower Knot drops, opens the Einherjar Mist Lord challenge, and carries stability work.
  • Bellring also said it is investigating the stuttering and latency reports from launch week, without committing to a fix date.
  • The milestone rewards — Standing Pose: Spellcasting, Moonlight Nectar ×5, Pro Combat Bag ×1 and Advanced Combat Bag ×1 — expire. They must be claimed from in-game mail before 12 August 2026, 12:00 UTC+0.
§02

Dated, undated, and why the difference matters here

A roadmap is the one page where confident writing does the most damage. Of the fourteen things Bellring named, exactly two carry timing: the 6 August client update and Solo Mode in September. Everything in Phase III and Season 2 is a name and a sentence. Wikis that flatten those into one list end up asserting release dates that were never announced, and players plan around them.

§03

Solo Mode is the entry that changes how you play now

Brandrgarde has been trio-shaped since launch: shrinking mist, heavy verticality, and a lobby where a solo player meets full squads. A Normal and Cataclysm solo queue in September means the gear you bank between now and then has somewhere to go that does not require finding two other people. It also means the class balance read for Brandrgarde is about to be rewritten, which is Bellring’s own stated worry, not ours.

  • Until it ships, Hallowgrove remains the map where a solo run is structurally survivable.
  • The developers said they will communicate their findings before making further adjustments, so expect balance follow-ups rather than a clean launch.
  • Splitting the queue is a real cost in a game already criticised for matchmaking; a thinner queue is the trade for a solo option.
§04

Season 2: a weapon, not a class

The single most useful thing in the Season 2 panel is what it does not say. There is no seventh class. The named addition is a Javelin for the Blackarrow — a third weapon line for a class that already exists — plus an unnamed season theme and a season-exclusive progression system separate from Path of Glory. Seasons were described in the July community AMA as three to four months, which is the only timing signal anyone has.

Mistfall Hunter Roadmap FAQ

Bellring confirmed it for the middle of Season 1, in September 2026, covering both Normal and Cataclysm difficulty. No day was given. It was announced on 5 August in response to launch feedback.
