This tracker contains no fabricated sample market. Prices are local observations, region and platform matter, and a current listing is an asking price rather than proof of a completed sale.

A comparable observation has five parts

  1. Exact item, quality and meaningful affixes.
  2. Server region and platform/store context.
  3. Whether it is average sale price or a current listing.
  4. Total displayed price and stack quantity, so unit price is correct.
  5. Observation time — market data decays quickly after balance and event changes.

Auction price tracker FAQ

Does this page show live global Auction House prices?

No. Mistfall Hunter does not expose a public market API. The tracker starts empty and calculates only from observations you record or import.

Where should I get an observation?

The official FAQ says the equipment detail page shows average sale price and the Auction House shows the price and quantity distribution of current listings. Record which of those two sources you used.

Why use median instead of average?

A single extreme listing can distort a mean. The median is usually a better centre for a small set of asking prices, while the tracker still displays the mean and full range.

Are current listings completed sales?

No. A listing is an asking price. Keep Current listing separate from Average sale price UI when you need a clean comparison.

Does my price history upload anywhere?

No. Observations remain in browser local storage. JSON and CSV export are explicit user actions, and importing merges by observation ID.
