A comparable observation has five parts
- Exact item, quality and meaningful affixes.
- Server region and platform/store context.
- Whether it is average sale price or a current listing.
- Total displayed price and stack quantity, so unit price is correct.
- Observation time — market data decays quickly after balance and event changes.
- Whether the client asked you to confirm. Since the 27 August 2026 update, buying anything priced inside the Overpayment Range raises a second confirmation prompt — so the game itself now marks a listing as outside the band it considers normal. That prompt is a free data point about the market and worth noting beside the price you recorded.
