Mistfall Hunter Shadowstrix Builds

Three published Shadowstrix builds — dual blades after the Phantom Shift nerf, the bait-and-stun inversion, and the dagger energy build — each transcribed from one creator with timestamps.

The short answer

The 3 September pass gave Phantom Shift a long recovery animation, and that single change is what separates the three published Shadowstrix builds. The newest accepts the recovery and throws the teleport out of an opening rather than into one; the two older ones were recorded when it was still instant.

3 published buildsAll re-read against the 3 Sep patch1 recorded after the 28 Aug passStealth assassin

One of the three builds postdates the 3 September Phantom Shift change; the other two are early August and describe an instant teleport. That is the single most important date on this page, so it is on every card.

§01

Pick one

Shadowstrix builds, filtered by how you play

The filters are a reading aid, not a re-labelling — every card still shows the creator’s own wording for the format, because “PvP, solo-leaning” is a hedge they meant.

§02

Which stance

Dagger or Dual Blades

This class swaps stances, so “which build” is mostly “which stance you want to spend the fight in”. Both briefs stay on the page; the button only moves the emphasis.

Dagger

The energy bar is a second health bar

  • Swanifier’s dagger build is organised around energy, and says plainly that an empty bar mid-fight is lethal.
  • Shadow Strike, Flash Stride and Phantom Shift is the shared three-skill core across both of his builds.
  • Battle Frenzy, Lightweight and Excitement are the talents that pay the energy bill.
  • Fervor leads its affix priority, which no other Shadowstrix build here does.

Dual Blades

Bait the swing, then punish it

  • Shadow Strike carries invincibility frames, which is what makes an *opening* out of somebody else’s attack.
  • Master Deemo’s September build uses Smoke Bomb and Spinning Slash and treats the teleport as an exit, not an entry.
  • Against an opponent who does not commit to a swing there is nothing to bait — this is a read, not a rotation.
  • Harder than the pre-patch class, and the creator repeats that rather than hiding it.
§03

Stat & affix priorities

What to roll for, and who said so

Derived by reading the published builds against each other rather than by picking a winner: an affix every build takes is load-bearing, and an affix they split on is the finding.
