Mistfall Hunter Builds

Mistfall Hunter builds for Withered Knight, Mercenary, Sorcerer and Blackarrow — each one transcribed from a named creator’s video, with the patch date and a timestamp for every skill, talent and affix.

Every build below is one named creator’s setup, transcribed from their video with the timestamp for each pick. We do not blend creators into a single "best" build, and we do not publish a build without an author and a date — if a build page cannot tell you who tested it and on which patch, it cannot tell you whether it is still true.

§01

The list

Builds, with the author and the patch date on the card

Sorted by class. The date is on every card because a build recorded before 30 July describes the beta balance, and the launch update moved six classes at once.

Withered Knight · GreatswordWithered Knight — Greatsword PvPA max-level (12) greatsword build built entirely around one interaction: wither is a resource you stack and then detonate, and every heavy strike detonates it.PvP, solo-leaningLaunch build · 2026-08-02Tested by Shadowcoast GamingMercenary · Sword & ShieldMercenary — Parry Sword & Shield, soloA parry-first sword-and-shield Mercenary for solo queue.SoloLaunch build · 2026-08-02Tested by Master DeemoSorcerer · Staff (Stardust)Sorcerer — Stardust, solo and trioA Stardust build that treats the spec’s defining trick — skipping the chant phase — as the whole point, then spends its affix budget on being allowed to cast at all.Solo and trioLaunch build · 2026-08-01Tested by ReddalfBlackarrow · BowBlackarrow — full-draw rangedA ranged setup that assumes you are fully drawing almost every shot, and then spends talents on making that draw faster and its cooldowns shorter.Solo and trioLaunch build · 2026-08-01Tested by Legacy Gaming

Conflicting sources

Where the experts contradict each other

Two creators with real credentials gave opposite advice on the same affixes. Picking one quietly would hide the most useful thing on this page, so both are here with dates attached.

Elusive and Vitality — core affixes, or B tier?

Master Deemo · 2026-08-02, launch build

Names Elusive, Vitality and Valor "the three best affixes for any solos character", on the argument that dodging and attacking more than your opponent is a permanent comparative advantage.

Source video

LichKArthus · 2026-06-15, June playtest build

Ranks Elusive in B tier — "I know some people will say elusive is better than B tier, I don’t think it is" — and puts Vitality in B tier as well, arguing you would have to evade implausibly often for the cost reduction to pay for itself.

Source video

Our read: These are not equally current. The B-tier rating predates the 30 July launch patch by six weeks, and stamina and cooldown behaviour is exactly the kind of thing a balance pass moves. Treat Master Deemo’s reading as the launch-build one, and LichKArthus’s as evidence that the affixes were already contested before launch rather than as a settled counter-verdict.

Is it "Fervor" or "Fervid"?

Legacy Gaming · 2026-08-01

Calls the stacking attack buff "Fervor" and rates it strong for Blackarrow specifically because the class sustains its uptime.

Source video

Reddalf · 2026-08-01

Calls what appears to be the same affix "Fervid" while listing a Stardust Sorcerer damage spread.

Source video

Our read: Both are machine transcriptions of spoken audio, so at least one is wrong and possibly both. We flag the name as unsettled rather than picking the one that sounds better — this is the sort of small error that competitor wikis copy from each other until it looks like a fact.

§03

Method

Why every build here has a name on it

A build is a claim about a patch. Without an author and a date it cannot be checked, and after the next balance pass it cannot even be dated.

Each build on this site is transcribed from one creator’s own video, with the timestamp for every skill, talent and affix so you can hear them say it. We do not merge several creators into a single “optimal” build, because the merge is where invented advice enters: the moment two sources are averaged, the result is attributable to nobody.

Names are transcribed from machine captions, which mishear proper nouns constantly. Where a name could not be corroborated by a second source it is marked with a ? on the build page rather than presented as settled. If you can confirm one against the in-game text, tell us and we will correct it with a note.

Have a build worth publishing? Submit it with the same evidence we hold ourselves to — class, stances, skills, talents, affixes, the rotation and the patch it applies to.
