The short answer
Two of the three published Withered Knight builds are the same execute loop pointed at different targets: Crime and Bad Karma into an Auto Execution finish, run against players in one and against Hallowgrove bosses in the other. The polearm-and-shield build is the odd one out, and its source is a 31 July launch guide rather than a competitive retest.

`/builds/withered-knight-greatsword-pvp/` was refreshed on 5 September; `/builds/withered-knight-polearm-shield/` rests on a 31 July source and says so at the top. The boss-farm build publishes no affixes because its source never covers them.

Greatsword or Polearm & Shield
This class swaps stances, so “which build” is mostly “which stance you want to spend the fight in”. Both briefs stay on the page; the button only moves the emphasis.
Greatsword
Put a timer on the other player
- Withering Mark plus Auto Execution is pressure with a clock on it; Parry and Radiant Retribution open the follow-up windows.
- The boss-farm build is the same Crime loop with monsters as the target — every Hallowgrove boss in green gear.
- Greatsword specialisation, Crime and Bad Karma is the talent core both greatsword builds share.
- Ranged opponents on exposed terrain are the stated problem, and the source’s advice is to avoid the fight rather than to build for it.
