Site gameplay verification: Not independently retested

Steel Arrow has moved twice in opposite directions since the 1 August capture and the net position has never been published: its cooldown was increased on 12 August and reduced again on 3 September, that second cut being the first line in any pass tuned per queue — “slightly larger… in Trio Mode compared to Solo Mode”. Lasting Pain's extension to immobilise and crowd-control debuffs was cut on 28 August, which is the talent this setup leans on to make a kite window last. Two moves in opposite directions do not cancel, and this site will not add them up for you. Damage figures in the footage also predate the 3 September Gyldening fixes. Documentary check only, no in-game retest.

The 15 September class balance pass changed a pick this build makes. Nobody has retested it on the new numbers, so the build below is what the creator recorded, not what it now does:

  • FervorDamage boost effect slightly reduced. The only gem affix in the pass, and no figure is published for it.

The 3 September class balance pass changed a pick this build makes. Nobody has retested it on the new numbers, so the build below is what the creator recorded, not what it now does:

  • Steel ArrowCooldown slightly reduced, "with a slightly larger reduction applied in Trio Mode compared to Solo Mode" — the first line in any pass to be tuned differently per queue, published the day the Brandrgarde solo queues opened.

The 28 August class balance pass changed a pick this build makes. Nobody has retested it on the new numbers, so the build below is what the creator recorded, not what it now does:

  • Lasting PainThe extension it applies to immobilise and crowd-control debuffs is reduced.

The 12 August class balance pass changed a pick this build makes. Nobody has retested it on the new numbers, so the build below is what the creator recorded, not what it now does:

  • Steel ArrowCooldown increased.

Site gameplay verification: Not independently retested

Bellring Games publishes no official build guidance. Every build on this site is one named creator’s setup transcribed from their own video, never a consensus assembled here — see all builds for the ones that disagree with this one.

§01

What it does

The premise

A ranged setup that assumes you are fully drawing almost every shot, and then spends talents on making that draw faster and its cooldowns shorter. Unlike the other builds here it is presented as a menu with genuine branches — the creator repeatedly names two defensible options rather than one.

The loop

  1. Fully draw by default; the damage talents are written around it.
  2. Rotate between specialty arrows and skills, because hits while carrying two arrows refund skill cooldowns.
  3. Open burst with Rapid Arrow, then finish with Sky Piercer.
  4. Hold the utility slot for on-demand crowd control rather than more damage.
§02

Skills

Skill slots, and what is deliberately left out

  1. Rapid Arrow

Five arrows in rapid succession, described as lights out at any level and one of the best burst abilities in the kit thanks to its talent synergies.

  2. Sky Piercer

Massive single-hit damage that pierces — the other half of the one-two punch, able to drop targets of any size.

  3. Frostbite Bomb

The recommended utility slot despite an admittedly wonky trajectory: on-demand crowd control that takes practice but can turn a fight outright.

  4. Scattershot

The alternative utility pick, with a warning attached — it is an instant knockback, not a damage skill, and treating it as damage is a mistake.

  5. Steel Arrow / Concussive Arrow12:30

The specialty-arrow branch when you are not stacking damage-over-time: Steel Arrow gives pierce, Concussive Arrow trades some of that for knockback and is favoured in more competitive lobbies.

§03

Talents

Talents in the creator's stated priority order

Listed in the order they recommend spending points, not in tree order — the first entries are the ones that change how the build functions rather than how hard it hits.

  1. Full Draw (Swiftshot)

Raises the damage floor as long as you are fully drawing, which the creator says you should be doing almost exclusively.

  2. Colossal Power (Swiftshot)
    Colossal Power (Swiftshot)14:00

Faster charge speed. Named specifically as the synergy partner for Full Draw — draw faster, fire more.

  3. Battle Fed (Battle Hardened)

While carrying two arrows, any shot that hits reduces the remaining cooldowns of all skills. Since the whole playstyle rotates between arrows and skills, this compounds directly into damage.

  4. Lasting Pain (Battle Hardened)14:30

Extends damage-over-time duration while you keep hitting. Conditional — only worth it if you commit to the DoT branch.

  5. Unstoppable Edge (Mighty Archer)

Converts some Sky Piercer damage to true damage, bypassing defence including physical defence such as shields. The answer to tanky targets.

  6. Focus Fire (Mighty Archer)

Makes Rapid Arrow more potent while you stay on the same target — which is the correct way to use it anyway.

  7. Greed is Good / Way of the Guild and Hunt?15:30

Level 12 economy picks. They increase Gyldenblod gain, which matters more than it sounds given how much you need to keep alternate characters geared.

§04

Affixes

Affixes to chase

  1. Valor

Called a no-brainer for overall attack, and at level five it starts granting defensive penetration.

  2. Ranged

Damage while further than five metres away, and at level five it also increases effective range by a stated 12% per rank — extra distance without giving up damage.

  3. Fervor

A stacking buff the class keeps up easily because of its attack speed. Rated a bigger damage buff than some alternatives, but entirely dependent on uptime, so higher risk and higher reward.

  4. Smiting

Called a sneaky-good pick: the class lands criticals most easily via headshots, but the real prize is the skill cooldown reduction that brings Sky Piercer and Frostbite Bomb back sooner.

  5. Distant Ward

A defensive counter-pick specifically against other ranged players, granting physical and magic resistance while you keep your distance.

  6. Speeds up skill cooldowns and, importantly, extends to specialty arrows.

§05

Execution

The parts that are technique, not gear

Copying the talent tree gets you none of this. These are the patterns the creator demonstrates on camera.

Affixes come from three different systems 15:30

Worth knowing before you chase any of the picks above: affixes appear naturally on gear, can be added via gems socketed into gear with sockets, and come from the Victory Wine system at the tavern. Three routes to the same stat means a missing affix is usually a sourcing problem, not a drop-luck problem.

§06

Honest limits

What this build is bad at

A build page without this section is an advertisement.

  • The class took real nerfs in the launch patch — shorter paralysis and less mobility out of stealth — so beta-era Blackarrow guides overrate it.
  • This is the least prescriptive build here. The creator names two valid options at several nodes, so treat it as a menu rather than a list.

Make it yours

Open this build in the planner

Start with the verified catalogue picks from Legacy Gaming’s setup. The shared URL keeps the source and deployment context as you edit. It is a loadout sketch, not an in-game import code or a validated talent tree.

15 of 18 listed picks have catalogue records. Only that tier’s linked affix goals preselect; unverified picks stay in the guide. Changing rarity does not calculate a price or guarantee a legal in-game allocation.

Questions about this build

Three ways, per Legacy Gaming: they roll naturally on gear, they can be added by socketing gems into gear that has sockets, and they can be granted through the Victory Wine system at the tavern.
