Mistfall Hunter Seer Builds

Three published Seer builds — the Blasphemer mace bruiser and two Reverent catalyst setups — with the curse-mana and rune discipline each one is really about.

The short answer

The Seer splits before it splits into builds: Blasphemer renounces the oath and becomes a mace bruiser gated behind curse mana, while Reverent stays at range and wins by outlasting. Two of the three published builds are Reverent, and all three are solo setups with a named trio swap.

3 published buildsAll re-read against the 3 Sep patch0 recorded after the 28 Aug passSupport or battle caster

The Blasphemer build publishes no affixes at all, because its source never covers them — that zero is the source’s, not an omission here, and the build page says so in its own tradeoffs.

§01

Pick one

Seer builds, filtered by how you play

The filters are a reading aid, not a re-labelling — every card still shows the creator’s own wording for the format, because “PvP, solo-leaning” is a hedge they meant.

§02

Which stance

Catalyst (Reverent) or Mace (Blasphemer)

This class swaps stances, so “which build” is mostly “which stance you want to spend the fight in”. Both briefs stay on the page; the button only moves the emphasis.

Catalyst (Reverent)

Outlast rather than close

  • LichKArthus’s framing of solo Reverent is a single word: patience.
  • Nazori’s rune build runs Punishment, Burst and Intimidation and closes kills slowly on purpose.
  • The rejected list is as useful as the picks — healing, shelter, stealth and windwalker runes are called useless for solo.
  • Eloquence and Elusive lead both Reverent builds’ affixes.

Mace (Blasphemer)

A resource-discipline build wearing a bruiser’s armour

  • The whole kit is gated behind curse mana, so the build is really about spending it in the right order.
  • Rune: Corruption, Rune: Drain and Rune: Stun are the three that generate the loop.
  • The Zeal super-armour line is what lets the mace finish a swing at all.
  • The launch patch took Shapeshift apart badly enough that a whole talent node now goes on repairing it.
§03

Stat & affix priorities

What to roll for, and who said so

Derived by reading the published builds against each other rather than by picking a winner: an affix every build takes is load-bearing, and an affix they split on is the finding.
