Camp is where runs are actually won

Windrest Camp is the hub between expeditions and every station both provides a function and can be upgraded to provide it harder. Because several stations produce value while you are offline, the order you invest in them compounds — a night without a Scavenger Squad dispatch is a night your account fell behind.

Upgrade order

Chase the thing that keeps you alive, then the thing that compounds while you sleep, then convenience.

  • Goddess Statue first. Springhorn is your only instant heal and this is the only thing that improves it.
  • Scavenger Squad early, because its output is passive and there is a free expedition available every day.
  • Gyldenblod Pool next — the carry cap is a direct throughput increase, and from level 3 it unlocks character slots.
  • Workshop and Tavern once you have gear worth maintaining and buffs worth stacking.
  • Warehouse when storage genuinely starts blocking you, not before.

Multiple characters, and the level 12 ceiling

From Gyldenblod Pool level 3 each upgrade unlocks another character slot. At pool level 4, with one character already maxed, you can spend Gyldenblod to level your other characters quickly. That matters less than it sounds because the character level cap is 12 — it saves grind time rather than unlocking a new ceiling.

The free tonic nobody takes

Sigrid at the tavern brews tonics customisable with anywhere from two to eight affixes depending on how upgraded the station is, each affix granting one stack of a buff for your next run. The basic version is free. Stronger versions cost materials and tavern upgrades. Entering a run without the free one is entering weaker for no reason.

One number here is unverified

Community guides report Goddess Statue levels 1 to 3 each adding around 10% Springhorn recovery, dropping to about 5% per level from level 7, which would create a real efficiency cliff. The creator reporting it hedged, and we have not verified it against the live client, so treat the percentages as a rumour and the ordering advice as sound regardless — the statue is the first upgrade either way.

Mistfall Hunter Windrest Camp Upgrade Guide FAQ

What should you upgrade first in Mistfall Hunter?

The Goddess Statue. It increases Springhorn healing, and Springhorn is your only instant heal with a fixed number of charges per expedition.

What is the character level cap?

Level 12. Gyldenblod Pool level 4 lets you spend currency to level additional characters quickly once you have one at cap.

How do you get more character slots?

By upgrading the Gyldenblod Pool. From level 3 onward, each upgrade unlocks a new character slot.

What is the Scavenger Squad?

An offline expedition system. You send creatures out for several hours and they return with materials, and it is the most consistent source of new combat bags. Upgrades unlock more zones and shorten expedition times.

Where do you repair gear?

The workshop, which also crafts gear and gems on multi-hour timers.
