Patch 7 August 2026 update

Mistfall Hunter Slumbering Contract

The Season 1 battle pass is free after seven cumulative logins — not seven in a row. The renewal clause, the Slumbering Servant outfit, and the name clash.

Every figure on this page comes from DevNote #7 and the launch announcement. No reward track, tier count or token name has been published, so none appears here — the gaps are drawn rather than filled.

Seven logins, and they do not have to be in a row

Bellring's wording is “7 days of cumulative logins”. Miss a Wednesday and you have not restarted anything — which is worth proving rather than asserting, because every streak-based pass you have met behaves the other way.

0 of 7 login days counted — skipping a day does not reset the count.

The Season 1 Battle Pass, “Slumbering Contract”, will be unlocked for free after 7 days of cumulative logins.

DevNote #7, 24 July 2026

As long as you maintain a certain level of activity during the season, you’ll be able to “renew” and unlock the next season’s Battle Pass for free.

DevNote #7 — the renewal clause

Two different things are called a Contract

The battle pass is the Slumbering Contract. The in-client Contract page is a separate weekly task board: the 6 August live update fixed a display issue on it and corrected its weekly task refresh time in the same line as the Fate Chart’s. Searching for “Mistfall Hunter contracts” returns both, and unlocking one does nothing for the other.

Still unpublished

  • How many reward tiers?

    No track published

  • What are the tokens called?

    Not named

  • How much activity counts as “a certain level”?

    Not quantified

  • When does Season 1 end?

    No end date published

  • Counted login day
  • Naming collision

The counter is a teaching device, not a tracker — it stores nothing, reads nothing and claims no account state. The unlock rule, the renewal clause and the Slumbering Servant line are quoted from DevNote #7; the Contract-page collision is read off the 6 August live-update patch list.

§01

Free, and the unlock is cumulative rather than consecutive

DevNote #7’s wording is exact and the exactness is the point: the pass “will be unlocked for free after 7 days of cumulative logins”. Cumulative, not consecutive. Miss a Wednesday and nothing resets — which matters because every streak-based pass a reader has met behaves the other way, and someone who believes they broke a streak on day four stops logging in.

  • The launch announcement had already committed to it: “more cosmetics and a Battle Pass (The Season 1 Battle Pass will be completely free!)”.
  • Seven login days, in any order, across the season. No purchase, no premium track and no paid tier has been announced for Season 1.
  • The counter above is an illustration of that rule. It reads nothing from your account and stores nothing.
§02

The renewal clause is the part worth planning around

The sentence most coverage drops is the one that compounds. DevNote #7: “as long as you maintain a certain level of activity during the season, you’ll be able to ‘renew’ and unlock the next season’s Battle Pass for free.” Season 1 being free is a launch promotion; staying free is a behaviour, and the behaviour is undefined.

  • “A certain level of activity” has not been quantified anywhere. There is no threshold, no task count and no hour requirement published.
  • That makes it the one thing on this page worth acting on early rather than at season end, because you cannot plan against a number nobody has given you.
  • Season 1 has no published end date either, so the window this applies over is also unknown.
§03

Slumbering Servant, and what the tokens are for

DevNote #7 adds one named reward: the “Slumbering Servant” outfit, which it says drew massive attention during Steam Next Fest, has been added to the Battle Pass rewards and is redeemable “using tokens earned through regular active play”. The concept sheet above is Bellring’s own, published in that same note directly beneath the paragraph.

  • The outfit is redeemed with tokens, which is a second currency layer on top of the unlock — earning the pass and earning the outfit are not the same act.
  • The tokens have no published name, no published earn rate and no published cap.
  • No other reward on the track has been named at all. A tier list for this pass does not exist in any Bellring channel.
§04

The other thing called a Contract

Bellring shipped two systems called a Contract and search cannot separate them. The battle pass is the Slumbering Contract. The in-client Contract page is a weekly task board — the 6 August live update fixed a display issue on it and corrected its weekly task refresh time in the same line as the Fate Chart’s. Unlocking one does nothing for the other, and a reader searching “Mistfall Hunter contracts” lands on both.

  • Contract page: weekly tasks, live now, patched 6 August.
  • Slumbering Contract: the Season 1 battle pass, free after seven cumulative logins.
  • The Fate Chart is a third task surface again, covered on the season tasks page.

Mistfall Hunter Slumbering Contract FAQ

Yes. The launch announcement states the Season 1 Battle Pass will be completely free, and DevNote #7 adds that it unlocks after seven days of cumulative logins. No paid tier has been announced for Season 1.
