Sockets into matching equipment and grants affixes. The official design allowed up to two affixes per gem and described one universal socket type; those exact live limits still need a current tooltip capture.
Acquisition
Official design: drops from enemies, alongside equipment, or with forged equipment. Launch coverage also shows forge crafting and four matching socket shapes.

Mistfall Hunter item database FAQ

Does the item database contain every Mistfall Hunter item?

No. It starts with records that have a traceable official announcement, current hands-on source or official concept reveal. Missing live tooltips remain missing rather than being guessed.

Why are some Legendary items labelled tentative concepts?

Official DevNote #3 published those names and images but explicitly said both names and concepts were subject to change. No live stats or drop source are inferred from the artwork.

What is an Affix Gem?

A gem socketed into compatible equipment to grant affixes. Official design described gem levels, socket types, up to two affixes and one universal socket; exact current live limits still need direct capture.

Are Soul Coins and Fate Coins the same?

The official posts use different names. Fate Coins are explicitly cosmetic-only; the launch reward grants 500 Soul Coins but that announcement does not state their use, so this database keeps them separate.

What is the rarest loot type?

Hands-on launch coverage identifies Holy items as a special type above normal colour rarity, dropping from map bosses and run missions with exclusive gameplay affixes.
