Every figure on this page is quoted from the official Steam store listing. That makes it unusual here — most of this site is creator-sourced and graded accordingly, and this one is the publisher’s own.

Can your machine run it?

Two bars, both published by the developer. This page does not know what is in your PC and will not guess — tick the rows you clear and it will tell you where you stand. Nothing you tick leaves your browser.

Work down the rows. For each one, tick the highest bar your machine clears.

  • Clears minimum
  • Clears recommended

Both columns are quoted verbatim from the official Steam store listing, which makes this the one module on the site where every figure is gold rather than creator-reported. There is deliberately no hardware database behind it: a page that ranked your graphics card would be inventing a comparison the developer never published, and it would be wrong the week a new card shipped. You supply the judgement about your own machine; the site supplies the bars. Ticks are stored in your own browser and never leave it. Summarises the requirements table below.

The two published bars

Bellring Games publishes a minimum and a recommended specification and nothing in between. Both are quoted verbatim below. There is no third tier, no per-setting guidance and no console-equivalent chart, so anything you see presenting one is somebody’s estimate rather than the developer’s.

  • A broadband internet connection is required at both tiers. This is an always-online extraction game; there is no offline mode.
  • The developer adds one note to both tiers: installing on an SSD is strongly recommended for a better experience.

§02

The memory floor is the line most people fail

The interesting number here is not the graphics card. A GTX 1060 minimum is unremarkable for a 2026 release, and plenty of ageing machines clear it. The 12 GB memory minimum is the unusual one — it is above the 8 GB that a large share of older gaming PCs still carry, and unlike a graphics setting it is not something you can turn down. If a single row on this page rules you out, statistically it is this one.

  • Recommended is 16 GB, so 12 GB is a floor rather than a comfortable target.
  • Memory is also the cheapest row to fix, which is worth knowing before you write the machine off.
§03

Why the SSD note is not boilerplate here

Plenty of games suggest an SSD out of habit. In an extraction game the recommendation has teeth: you are streaming a large map while other players are moving through it, and a hitch is not a cosmetic problem — it is a stutter during a fight you cannot recover from. The same reasoning runs through this site’s settings advice, which favours stable frame pacing over frame count for exactly this reason.

§04

What the requirements do not tell you

A specification sheet answers whether the game will launch, not whether it will feel good. Nothing published maps a settings preset to either tier, states a target frame rate, or says what resolution the recommended tier is measured at. Players on capable machines have also reported stuttering and latency independently of hardware, and the developers have said that is under investigation — so clearing the recommended bar is not a guarantee of smoothness in the current build.

  • The published requirements cover PC. The game also ships on PlayStation and Xbox, where the hardware question does not arise.
  • If performance is the actual problem rather than the hardware, the settings and known-issues pages are the ones to read.

Mistfall Hunter System Requirements FAQ

Windows 10 64-bit, an Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400, 12 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580, DirectX 12, and 45 GB of storage. A broadband connection is required, and the developer strongly recommends installing to an SSD.
