Mistfall Hunter Solo Reverent Seer Build (Top-3 NA)
Nazori’s solo caster Seer: Punishment and Burst Runes as the non-negotiable damage core, Propel for the chase the class cannot otherwise make, and the Eloquence–Creation affix stack.

What it does
The premise
The spec our tier list puts at the bottom of solo S — "enormously strong one-on-one, but hard to play and it closes kills slowly enough to lose to a third party" — from a player sitting around top three among NA caster Seers. His build is organised around the two failure modes the tier list names: runes that make the one-on-one nearly unloseable, and Propel because "it’s hard to catch people... without it people will just get away from you over and over and over."
The loop
- Punishment and Burst Runes are the damage core — both non-negotiable, in solos and trios alike.
- Burst Rune is placed, not aimed: through doors, around corners, or at your own feet when someone gets aggressive — anyone skirmishing with you has to stand in it.
- Intimidation Rune (or Binding, when it cooperates) turns the melee’s engage into knockback damage.
- Cast, then Propel-dash and sprint — the movement talent is what converts a held fight into a closed kill.
Skills
Skill slots, and what is deliberately left out
“Non-negotiable in solos” and carried in trios too — with its mirror talent this is half of the class’s damage identity.
“Never take this without the talent” — it does roughly half damage bare. Direct hits burst, and anyone marked eats the delayed damage, which is “fairly guaranteed” against melee: even a miss zones them.
His current third slot: damage plus knockback against anyone attacking next to it. He flip-flops between this and Binding and currently trusts this one against melee.
The alternative third slot, catching corners and runners — demoted because the cable frequently fails to attach on jumping targets, “a useless amount of cast time” that also does no damage.
“Too good. I can’t find anything to replace this.” The mobility half of the kit alongside Propel.
The corner insurance: popped before ladders and blind turns, because “your biggest source of death in solos” is a Shadowstrix waiting at the corner you chase around.
Talents
Talents in the creator's stated priority order
Listed in the order they recommend spending points, not in tree order — the first entries are the ones that change how the build functions rather than how hard it hits.
- Burst Rune enhancement?06:30
“It doubles the damage. It’s crazy good.” The reason Burst Rune is never taken bare — testable with and without on the training grounds.
- Punishment mirror?06:30
Punishment Rune mirrors your attacks. The second non-negotiable of the three.
- Propel?07:00
The third non-negotiable: cast, instantly dash, and run the sprint out. This is the anti-kite tool for a class whose kills otherwise escape — the tier list’s stated weakness, patched by one talent.
- Enhanced tracking?06:00
Taken because “your tracking is pretty awful” — auto-attack orbs can miss a slightly moving target without it.
- Breakaway shield?06:00
A Breakaway that also shields — “super valuable, good for the brawl” when a melee is already on top of you.
Affixes
Affixes to chase
- Eloquence04:30
“Most important.” The casting-speed affix, on the class whose entire kit is cast times.
- Elusive04:30
Second priority, for dodge energy.
- Creation04:30
Tower/construct duration, plus a breakpoint worth reaching for the extra 5% damage.
- Ranged04:30
Damage — “the caster Seer really lacks damage. These make up for that.”
- Valor04:30
Paired with Ranged and Creation for the damage the class is missing.
- Seamless05:00
Cooldowns, “to be able to spam the towers”. He flags Resilience and Seeker as untested maybes rather than rejects.
Execution
The parts that are technique, not gear
Copying the talent tree gets you none of this. These are the patterns the creator demonstrates on camera.
Burst Rune as terrain 01:00
Thrown through doors, around corners, or dropped at your own feet before melee range closes. The mark makes the delayed damage near-guaranteed against anyone who has to enter it to reach you — placement is the aim.
Corners are the death zone — shield first 03:30
The named killer of solo caster Seers is the Shadowstrix waiting at a blind corner. His rule: never round a corner, top a ladder, or chase into cover without Burst Rune ready or Psionic Shield popped.
The Propel chase 07:00
Cast a Q, dash instantly, and run the whole movement-speed window. Without it, "hold your ground" is all the class can do — targets simply leave. With it, the one-on-one the spec always wins actually ends in a kill.
Honest limits
What this build is bad at
A build page without this section is an advertisement.
- The rejected list is long and explicit: healing, shelter (situational at best), stealth and windwalker runes are “useless in solo” — the limited-use mechanic on healing runes draws his sharpest criticism.
- Tracking is the class gripe: auto attacks can miss a slightly moving target even with the talent.
- Kills close slowly — the tier list’s third-party warning stands, and Propel mitigates rather than removes it.
- His trio setup is different enough that he publishes it separately; this page is the solo half only.
- Build codes exist in his video description but are not reproduced here — codes rot, and the description was not captured with the transcript.
