Use this to compare controlled observations, not to predict an unknown tooltip from raw stats. Mistfall Hunter’s defence, penetration, PvP scaling and per-skill coefficients are not publicly documented, so none are silently guessed here.

Inputs

Start from a damage number you observed

Estimated result

100

expected combo damage after the user-entered target multiplier

+0.00% versus the observed unmodified combo

Observed combo baseline
100
Combined bonus multiplier
1.0000×
Non-critical combo
100
All-critical combo
150
Crit-weighted expected combo
100
After target multiplier
100

Formula used

  1. Observed hit × hit count.
  2. Add the three bonus percentages, then apply one multiplier.
  3. Weight normal and critical damage by the entered critical chance.
  4. Apply the user-entered target damage-taken percentage.

This does not model hidden defence, penetration, rounding, PvP scaling or per-skill coefficients. Those formulas are not published. Keep the target and test conditions identical when comparing two builds.

Damage calculator FAQ

Is this the official Mistfall Hunter damage formula?

No. The developer has not published the full formula. This is a transparent comparison model that starts from damage you observed on a controlled target.

Should I use additive or sequential stacking?

If you have not tested the stacking rule, calculate both. The gap between the results is the uncertainty introduced by that unknown rule.

How should I enter target defence?

Do not invent a defence value. Test an unmodified hit on the same target and leave target damage taken at 100, or enter a multiplier you measured independently.

Does the calculator include defence penetration?

Not directly, because the game’s defence and penetration curve is not published. Their effect can only be represented through a target multiplier derived from a controlled test.

Where do the Valor and Burst presets come from?

A launch-week Withered Knight build guide showed Valor Tier 5 at +7.5% attack and Burst Tier 5 at +25% execution damage. They are sourced worked-example values, not universal best-in-slot advice.
