Who actually writes this
Enthusiasts — not a media company. Nobody here is paid, sponsored, briefed or supplied with keys by Bellring Games or Skystone Games. We bought Mistfall Hunter the same way you did, on the same patches we write about, and the site is a hobby project funded out of pocket.
It started as a private notes file. Launch week produced a lot of pages that were the store description rewritten, plus code lists for codes that did not exist, and none of them answered the questions we were actually asking each other between raids. So we wrote the answers down properly, with the source next to each one, and then published the file.
We play it
Every guide is written by someone who runs that class, weapon or map themselves, not by someone summarising a video.
We show our work
A claim we cannot attribute to an official page, a linked capture or a repeatable test gets labelled unverified and stays that way.
We would rather be corrected
Being wrong in public is the cost of publishing early. Send the evidence and the page changes, with its review date.
How we research
- Official game pages, announcements and patch notes are the first source for shipped features and changes.
- Linked launch-build footage is used when official material does not document a mechanic in enough detail.
- Community reports are labelled as unconfirmed until an official note or repeatable test supports them.
How we review
- Numeric claims keep a visible source and applicable version.
- Editorial recommendations are separated from official facts.
- Uncertain names, outdated build footage and conflicting reports are disclosed instead of silently resolved.
- Material corrections update both the page and its review date.
Ownership, corrections and transparency
The site is maintained in a public repository so its source labels and revisions can be inspected. Game names, marks and official images remain the property of their respective owners; their use here is fan-editorial and does not imply endorsement.
