Wind Surge
In-game tooltip: after using the skill, launch a high-pressure cyclone toward the crosshair direction, dealing Magic Damage and knocking back all enemies within range. Its Opportunist Strike talent stuns enemies hit by Wind Surge if they are hit again by an enhanced orb within a short period — and the more Psionic Energy that orb consumes, the longer the stun lasts, so the crowd control scales with what you were already spending.

When to use it
The Reverent peel. It is aimed at the crosshair rather than placed like a rune, which makes it the one Catalyst answer to something already inside the backline. No creator tier placement was captured with it.
Builds using this
- Seer — Reverent catalyst, ranged support — LichKArthus explains it at 00:30Taken for its talent rather than for itself: a fully charged heavy attack after the knockback stuns. Do not throw it at someone who can dodge it — if a good player I-frames the knockback you have spent your spacing tool for nothing, so it is held until a closer is already committed.
- Seer — Reverent Solo — Nazori explains it at 02:00“Too good. I can’t find anything to replace this.” The mobility half of the kit alongside Propel.

Distinct from his Blasphemer guide, which covers the other specialisation.
