Mistfall Hunter August 15 Update: Stutter Fix

The 15 August server update named the cause of the stutter for the first time — cloud server CPU hyper-threading — plus the Mistchaser Shop reward list and a mail claim closing 22 August.

15 August 2026 · server-side

Nothing to download. Bellring changed server configuration on 13 and 14 August and explained it on the 15th: one cause of the stuttering was cloud server CPU hyper-threading. No balance lines.

What Bellring actually said, and what changed on the 12th

This is the first post to give the stutter a cause rather than describe it as under investigation. One source of the intermittent stuttering, lag and character teleporting was traced to cloud server CPU hyper-threading, and server configuration was adjusted across all servers on 13 and 14 August — before the announcement, not after it. Set that beside the 12 August notes, which stated plainly that client hitching, stuttering and crash issues had been fixed. Three days later the same symptom was being addressed again from the server side, so the 12 August line did not close it. Bellring says its own monitoring shows the stutters occurring less frequently, calls performance its highest priority and says work continues — a direction of travel, not a closed case.

  • There is no client download for this. If you are looking in your app store for a stutter fix, there is not one to find; the change is already applied on the servers you connect to.
  • It is a partial cause, in the developers' own words — "part of the problem". Nothing here says every stutter is gone.
  • No balance lines, no class changes, no fix list. If your class feels different since the 12th, this post is not why.

The Mistchaser Shop, and the first official Soul Harvest reward list

The 12 August update shipped Soul Harvest and described its mechanics in detail, but named no shop and no rewards. This post is the first source for where the tokens go. Completing Soul Harvest runs earns exclusive tokens that are exchanged at the Mistchaser Shop.

  • The headline item is the Season-exclusive Holy-quality collectible Soulbound Serpent Crystal.
  • Also stocked: a Holy Material Selection Chest, Moonlight Nectar and Soul Coins.
  • Separately, the Fate Chart Shop gained Moonlight Nectar and a Legendary Material Selection Chest, with more said to be added as the season progresses — so a Fate Chart stock check made before 15 August is out of date.
  • The boss standing between you and the rewards is the Soulgnawer, named here and in DevNote #7 but in none of the 12 August notes that shipped the mode.

The mail expiring on 22 August, and why it is not the one you already claimed

An appreciation grant went out with this post: Moonlight Nectar ×5, Pro Combat Bag ×2 and Advanced Combat Bag ×2, claimed from in-game mail, with a window closing 22 August 2026 at 00:00 UTC+0. Unclaimed mail expires and Bellring has published no recovery route for any expired grant so far. It is worth being explicit that this is a different grant from the Wave 3 milestone mail that closed on 12 August: that one carried Pro Combat Bag ×1, Advanced Combat Bag ×1 and a Standing Pose. Claiming that one does not mean you have this one.

Mistfall Hunter August 15 Update: Stutter Fix FAQ

No. It is a server-side configuration change, rolled out across all servers on 13 and 14 August. There is no app-store download for it and no version number to check.
