Effect / use

A Legendary forging and construction material, not a currency and not equippable — the name misleads on both counts. Its two documented sinks are high-tier recipes at the Forge and camp construction, plus the fallback of selling it to a merchant or listing it on the auction house. One camp cost has been published in full: a level 6 Shop is reported to take 1× Celestigold, 1× Gilded Ring, 1× Slumbering Dragon Statue and 2× Mixed Spices. That is one outlet rather than a confirmed table, but it is checkable in your own camp panel, which is more than the rest of this item has.

Acquisition

Brandrgarde only, from mining-flavoured containers — ore piles, mining carts and Lazurite deposits, concentrated around the map’s Mining Quarter. Every source agrees it does not appear on Hallowgrove. How often it drops is the part nobody can settle: one write-up publishes a per-container percentage table it attributes to no one, and two others state outright that no dependable rate exists, one of them noting that player reports scatter from a find inside a few runs to long dry spells. No figure is carried here. A secondary lead — a “Premium Legendary Material Selection Chest” from the Contract Mall — is described by its own source as rotating and not guaranteed, and a third naming a locked “Cobalt Grove” area cannot be placed: no such region appears in the two live maps this site holds.

Loss / ownership rule

Ordinary carried loot. It is not exempt from anything: secure it in the safe pouch before taking another fight, because a Legendary material dies with you and goes to whoever killed you.

Community item databases and guides — and they disagree about the drop rates — Bellring has never mentioned Celestigold. The Legendary tier, the Brandrgarde-only sourcing, the ore-pile and mining-cart containers and the forge-plus-construction use are consistent across Gamer Guides, mistfallhunterguide (which files it under a literal construction-material path), MistfallHub, nerdschalk (10 Aug 2026) and mistfallhunter.run. The drop rates are not: mistfallhunterguide prints Large Ore Pile 9.8%, Frenzied Wizard Jar 3.7%, Gift of Fate and Gilded Chest 2.9% each and Medium Ore Pile and Forge Furnace 2.8% each with no attribution, while MistfallHub says it carries no percentages and nerdschalk says no dependable rate exists. Nothing above uses those figures. The Shop level 6 recipe is nerdschalk’s alone and is repeated here because it is checkable in-game, not because it is corroborated.
