Sword Tip
Each landed hit adds a sword-tip stack, shown on the buff bar. At six stacks the buff turns blue and a sword-tip strike becomes available, spent with both attack inputs together. Talent nodes raise the rate of gain and open stages beyond the first.

The stance is built on this. A sword-and-shield Mercenary played without spending sword tip is giving up where its damage actually comes from.
