When to use it
The affix a charge-heavy stance is actually short of. Every argument on this site for the Warhammer and for Withered Knight Polearm & Shield turns on getting a charge off inside a window an opponent is trying to close — this shortens the window and, from Lv5, stops the charge from rooting you while it happens.
