Fire Bolt
In-game tooltip: hold to chant, then launch a fire bolt that explodes on contact with a target or the ground, dealing Magic Damage plus short-term burn. Released before the chant completes it instead recovers Energy and fires a weaker bolt for reduced Magic Damage. Fire Bolt has a relatively short maximum range.

When to use it
The Elemental basic. The early-release branch is the part that matters in a fight: it converts an interrupted cast into Energy back rather than a wasted one, at the cost of damage. Aimed projectiles can headshot, so range discipline pays twice.
Builds using this
- Elemental Sorcerer — chant, zone, disengage — Master Deemo explains it at 13:00The damage. Named the most consistent of the elemental options — the electric alternatives hit harder on paper and land less often. Its partial true damage only applies on a completed chant, which is the whole reason the rest of the build exists.
- Sorcerer — Fire and Ice, PvP — Toonchie explains it at 01:28The opener and the enabler. Its mark is what makes the target freezable or ignitable; nothing else in the loop works without it.
