When to use it
A named alternative the guide declines: pre-stacking only works when you see the opponent early, and the stacks time out in long fights. Recorded because other builds do run it. Note what the tooltip does NOT say — this talent generates stacks from your own skills only. Taking hits is Indomitable Will’s own behaviour, and one spoken guide runs the two together.
Builds using this
- Mercenary — Parry Sword & Shield, solo — Master Deemo explains it at 17:30Considered and rejected. It grants two stacks of Indomitable Will after a charge-up skill, which lets a hammer Mercenary pre-stack before a fight. The creator’s objection is consistency: you cannot always pre-stack, and long fights let the stacks expire. Presented as preference, not error.
- Mercenary — Hammer — Mr Loony Lemon explains it at 06:00The engine: a charge-type skill reaching its next phase grants two stacks of Indomitable Will, and getting hit grants one. He calls this and the mastery “absolutely necessary”.
