Patch 15 September 2026 update
Updated 2026-09-17

Charge Dash

In-game tooltip: raise the shield to block frontal attacks, holding to keep the shield stance while charging up to three levels before releasing a forward dash. Lv.1 dashes forward with the shield raised to ram enemies. Lv.2 adds Super Armor, more dash distance and a follow-up thrust. Lv.3 adds Super Armor, more distance again and a stronger leaping thrust. Performing a Breakaway raises the charge level by one for a short duration.

When to use it

The polearm stance’s whole tempo. Charging is not dead time because the shield is blocking throughout, and Breakaway — normally a purely defensive escape — feeds a charge level straight back into the next dash.

Builds using this

  • Withered Knight — Polearm & ShieldLegacy Gaming explains it at 08:20
Our solo swap for the source loadout’s ally-dependent third slot. The source demonstrates the movement tool earlier in the class guide; unlike Intervene, it does not need a teammate to create distance or a new angle.

Where this comes from

Legacy Gaming — Ultimate Withered Knight Class Guide — opens at 08:20, where the skill is explained.
